Introduction
The graph demonstrates the number of students in Social Sciences reading different types of literature
during their study in NAUKMA. The vertical axis shows the number of respondents in a group of 15
students that have chosen a particular type of literature. The horizontal axis provides comparison for a 5-year period.
Comment
As can be seen from the graph, the students in Social Sciences during their study period in NAUKMA are
concentrated on reading for their specialty most of the time. In fact, the trend of specialty literature
fluctuated sharply, but stayed prevalent at any time of study process. Moreover, the trend of students
reading specialty literature compared with reading for pleasure doubles or even trebles the proportion
in group. On the other hand, the trend of reading in other specialties illustrates information as a
downward trend, and in a present time the least number of students read some special literature in
other fields. Concerning news reading, the trend shows a slight increase in recent years. Based on
given information, it is relevant to state that at the present time Social Sciences students spend their
time reading specialty literature, because they have defined their scientific interests. In addition, these
students are willing to confirm the theories they have learned, and so the interest to news reading is
increasing.
